Accessibility Statement

Legal & trustTermsPrivacyDPASubprocessorsSecurityAcceptable useAccessibility

Rennt is used by rental company owners, their staff, and the renters who book on their storefronts. We want all of them to be able to use it, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology.

1. Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA across rennt.app, the rental company dashboard, and tenant storefronts.

Where we are today: we are working toward that goal. Rennt has not yet had an independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance. We test with keyboard navigation and browser accessibility tools as we build, and we fix issues as we find them.

2. What we do

  • Use semantic HTML (real headings, lists, buttons, links and form labels) so assistive technology can understand pages.
  • Keep pages usable with a keyboard and with browser zoom up to 200%.
  • Use a design system with readable type and color contrast intended to meet AA for text.
  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful images in our own pages.
  • Respect the "reduce motion" setting on our animated product previews.
  • Build responsive layouts that work on phones and tablets.

3. Known limitations

We would rather tell you about these than hide them:

  • Animated product previews on our marketing pages are mainly visual. The same information is in the page text, but screen readers may not describe the animations themselves.
  • Drawn signatures at checkout need a mouse, finger or stylus. They are optional: typing your legal name is a complete signature.
  • Charts and maps in the dashboard (such as revenue charts and the delivery map) do not yet have full text alternatives. Most of the same numbers and addresses are available in lists and tables nearby.
  • Content added by rental companies — their photos, colors, descriptions and AI-generated website pages — is controlled by each company and may be missing alt text or have low contrast. We remind companies to review this.
  • Third-party screens such as Stripe payment pages and Google sign-in are provided by those companies and follow their own accessibility programs.
  • Some older dashboard screens may have form fields or dialogs that are not yet fully labeled for screen readers. We are fixing these as we update each screen.

4. Tell us about a barrier

If something on Rennt is hard to use, email support@rennt.app with "Accessibility" in the subject. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you use. We will reply within 5 business days, and if we cannot fix it right away we will help you get the task done another way — for example, by helping a renter complete a booking by email.

If you are a renter and the problem is with a specific rental company's content, you can also contact that company directly.

5. About this statement
