Connecting Mailchimp and syncing customers
Paste your Mailchimp API key, pick an audience, and sync your customer list into it.

Connect Mailchimp and your Rennt customer list can flow into a Mailchimp audience — so past customers hear from you when next season starts.
Connecting#
- In Mailchimp, create an API key (under Account, then Extras, then API keys).
- In Rennt, open Settings, find the Mailchimp card, and click Connect Mailchimp.
- Paste the API key.
- Pick which Mailchimp audience your customers should go into.
Syncing your customers#
Click Sync existing customers now to push your current customer list into the chosen audience. Run it again whenever you want to top the audience up with people who booked since the last sync.
What to send them#
The money emails for rental companies are seasonal: "book your graduation party now," "holiday tables and chairs are going fast," a spring discount for last year's customers. One good email a quarter beats a weekly newsletter nobody reads.

Email marketing laws (CAN-SPAM and friends) still apply — Mailchimp handles the unsubscribe mechanics, but only send to people who did business with you and honor opt-outs.
