How do I connect Stripe?

Click Connect Stripe in Settings and follow Stripe's onboarding — when it's done, card payments land in your own bank account.

Settings

What Stripe asks for#

Stripe opens its own signup form. It asks for your business details, your EIN or Social Security number (Stripe is legally required to verify who it pays), and the bank account where you want deposits. Most owners finish in 5–10 minutes. Have your bank routing and account numbers handy before you start.

Where the money goes#

Renter payments go to YOUR Stripe account, then to YOUR bank. Rennt never holds your rental money and takes 0% commission. Payouts follow Stripe's standard payout schedule for your country — the exact timing, and every payout, is visible in your Stripe dashboard.

If you don't finish in one sitting#

The card in Settings will show Finish connecting. Click it to pick up where you left off — Stripe saves your progress.

i
You don't have to take cards at all. Plenty of rental companies run cash-first and do fine. See the cash on delivery article.
★
Stripe charges its own processing fee (about 2.9% + 30¢ per card charge in the US). That fee is Stripe's, not Rennt's — Rennt adds nothing on top.
