The 1¢ per booking fee, explained
Every booking adds one cent to your monthly invoice. It is a count, never a percentage.
The 1¢ per booking fee is exactly what it sounds like: every booking that comes through your account adds one cent to your monthly Rennt invoice. One hundred bookings is $1. A monster 500-booking month is $5.
Why it exists#
It is what keeps the base price at $9/mo. Instead of charging everyone a big flat fee sized for the busiest companies, Rennt charges a small base plus usage. Slow months cost you almost nothing; big months cost you pocket change.
What counts as a booking#
Each booking created on your account — whether the customer booked on your storefront or you created it yourself with + New booking — counts once. Cash bookings and card bookings count the same.
What it is NOT#
- It is not a percentage. A $2,000 wedding order and a $50 chair order both cost 1¢.
- It is not taken out of the customer's payment. It appears on YOUR monthly invoice, alongside your subscription.
- It is not Stripe's processing fee — that is separate and only applies to card payments.
