What happens if my subscription payment fails?

Nothing is deleted. Update your card in Plan & Billing and the retry clears it.

If your Rennt subscription payment fails, nothing is deleted — your storefront stays up and your data is safe. You will get an email, and the charge is retried automatically.

What to do#

  1. Open the Plan & Billing tab.
  2. Update your card details there.
  3. The retry usually clears the balance within a day or two of a successful card update.

Why payments fail#

The usual suspects: an expired card, a replacement card issued after fraud, or a bank declining a small recurring charge. It is almost never anything you did wrong in Rennt.

What happens if it stays unpaid#

We email you rather than pulling the rug out. But do not let it linger — sort the card out promptly so the account stays in good standing.

Bookings during a failed payment#

Your storefront keeps taking bookings and the 1¢ meter keeps counting normally. Fixing your card settles the outstanding invoice, meter included.

i
If your card was charged but the tab still shows a problem, or you cannot update the card, email support@rennt.app with your storefront name and we will sort it out.
