Already have a website you like on Wix, Squarespace, WordPress or GoDaddy? You don't have to move it. Paste one line of code into your site and your Rennt storefront (your catalog, live availability, deposits and checkout) shows up right on your page. Every booking still lands in your Rennt dashboard, exactly like bookings made on your Rennt storefront.

Where to find your code#

1. Open the website builder in your Rennt dashboard.
2. Find the card called Add booking to your existing website.
3. Pick the style you want (see "Inline or button" below) and click Copy next to it.

Your code already contains your business's storefront address, so there is nothing to edit. It looks like this:

How to paste it#

Wix: In the Wix Editor, click Add Elements, then Embed Code, then Embed HTML. Choose "Code", paste your code, click Update, then drag the box to the full width of the page and make it tall. Publish your site.

Squarespace: Edit the page, click an insert point, and add a Code block. Paste your code, make sure the display mode is HTML, and save. Code blocks need a Squarespace plan that allows custom code.

WordPress: Edit the page, add a Custom HTML block, paste your code and update the page. On WordPress.com, custom code needs a plan that supports it.

GoDaddy Website Builder: Edit your site, add a section, search for HTML, and add the HTML section. Paste your code into the Custom Code box and publish.

Inline or button#

Inline (the first code) puts your whole storefront inside the page where you paste it. It grows and shrinks to fit, so there is no scroll bar inside a box. This is best for a dedicated "Book online" or "Rentals" page.

Button (the second code) adds a floating "Book now" button in the bottom-right corner of every page where you paste it. Tapping it opens your storefront full screen; customers close it with the X or the Esc key. You can change the words with data-text="Reserve today" and the color with data-color="#1d4ed8". Use one button per page.

Troubleshooting#

Nothing shows up: Make sure you pasted into an HTML, Embed or Code block, not a normal text block. Text blocks show the code as words instead of running it. Then publish your site and look at the live page; some editors don't run code in preview mode.

The booking box is cut off or has its own scroll bar: Your site builder may be forcing a fixed height on the embed box. Make the box taller in the editor, or use the button code instead.

Your website builder blocks scripts: Some plans or builders only allow an iframe. Use this instead, replacing your-business with your storefront name (the part after /s/ in your storefront address):

This version won't resize itself, so change 1200px if you need more or less room.
