Two people edited the same thing — a change vanished
Last save wins per record. Rennt does not merge simultaneous edits to the same row.
When two people edit the same thing at the same time, the last save wins — Rennt does not merge two people's changes to the same record.
What that means in practice#
Say you and your partner both have the same product open. You change the Price and save; they fix the Description and save a minute later. Their save writes THEIR version of the record — and their copy still had the old price on screen. Your price change is gone, silently.
Saves are per record (per product row, per booking), so two people working on DIFFERENT products or bookings never collide. It only bites when both of you are inside the same one.
Habits that prevent it#
- Split the work by area: one of you owns Inventory today, the other works Bookings. No overlap, no collisions.
- Refresh before editing something a teammate may have touched, so you start from the current version instead of a stale one.
- Announce big edit sessions ("I am repricing everything tonight") in whatever group chat you already use.
If a change vanished#
It was almost certainly overwritten this way, not lost by the system. Re-enter it — and check whether the other person's change from that same moment needs re-entering too, because one of the two saves lost.
