The delivery day checklist
The night-before and morning-of routine that keeps event days boring — in the good way.
Plan: All plansWho: Everyone
Good delivery days are made the night before. This is the routine, using the screens you already have.
The night before#
- Open Delivery and read tomorrow like a manifest: how many runs, how far apart, what the notes say. Surprises found tonight are just planning.
- For each run, open the booking and Print pull sheet — one per stop, stacked in route order.
- Check each booking's Payments ledger for an outstanding balance. Note "collect $180" on the paperwork; chasing money after the party is ten times harder.
- Running Dispatch (Pro)? Order tomorrow's route now and make sure the driver knows where their day starts.
Loading out#
- Load against the pull sheet, checking off every line. The sheet is the truth — not memory. Count pieces, not bundles ("6 table legs" has burned everyone once).
- Straps, dolly, tools, stakes, extension cords — the stuff that is on no order but every truck.
At each stop#
- Navigate from the address link on the run — it opens straight in your maps app.
- Set up, then walk the customer through anything with a safety rule (inflatable anchoring, heater clearance).
- Collect any balance and record it in the booking's Payments ledger on your phone — cash, card, check or other.
- On Dispatch, tap Mark delivered and capture who received it (photo and signature if you take them — see "Proof of delivery").
Back home#
- Mark the day's bookings fulfilled if you have not already.
- Glance at tomorrow before you stop being a logistics company for the night.

Pickups deserve the same list in reverse — un-collected gear is inventory you cannot rent. Scan returns in with Check-in / out so damage is caught while the customer conversation is still easy.
