Print agreement: signatures and your paper trail
Every signed booking stores who signed, their drawn signature, and when — with the agreement text frozen as it was that day.
When a customer books on your storefront, they sign your rental agreement as part of checkout: they type their legal name, can draw a signature with their finger or mouse, and Rennt stamps the exact time. All three are stored on the booking, and the agreement text itself is snapshotted — so even if you rewrite your terms next month, each booking keeps the wording the customer actually agreed to.
Seeing and printing a signature#
Open the booking from Bookings. The signer's name and the drawn signature image appear on the detail, and a Print agreement button in the tool row prints the full signed document: your agreement text as it stood, the typed legal name, the drawn signature, and the timestamp. Print it or save it as a PDF for your records — insurers and (in a dispute) small-claims courts want exactly this.
When there is no signature#
Print agreement only appears on signed bookings. Two common reasons it is missing:
- The booking was a phone order you entered with + New booking — nobody signed at a storefront, so there is nothing to print. If you need paper for these, print your agreement separately and have them sign at handoff.
- You have not set up an agreement yet. Rennt does not write one for you — add your own under Rental agreement (see the article "Set up your rental agreement"). Until you do, storefront checkout shows a plain terms checkbox instead of a signature step.
